Oh.. it wouldn't be an actual BSD. It would be a variation on the 32OD.

Well it's been a long while fiddling and experimenting, but I finally got round to a pretty satisfactory layout. For now!

It does take me am absolute age to decide what goes on/off and I do tend to constantly shift. Ideally, it'd be two boards!

Most present are long term favorites.

Conundrum 1: Fuzz (so many flavors but what actually works live?)
So far I compromised at that larger Hammond case - space wise - and a fuzz with some mid push and EQ. I can swap out for the same size (such as the 32 Pedals) or something in the regular Hammond size or even BOSS .

Ideal world I'd have a raspy 60s, a FF, TB and a Muff ha!
And yep, offboard fuzz for a variety factor and they're usually big beasts!

Conundrum 2: - Boost Flavor
The other challenge is a mid-push booster/light drive as I tend to use Strats these days and whenever I jam it's an army of old chaps wielding OD-1s, TSs, SD-1s etc. blasting me to oblivion! I'm currently experimenting with a few as subs for the rangmaster type pedal (blue), but I do like that alot. Boosts with some degree of shaping and character, I realize are my thing for a tube amp to be pushed.

Conundrum 3: - "Save the day amp like drive"

Frequently using house amps that can be so clean as to render my setup useless. I have the Bluesbreaker on the board as a boost/drive. Ideal placement though is probably last in chain to give me amp like compression and drive. There's a 100w Marshall Plexi at one live house, clean as a whistle and loud as hell. Could sub a Blues Driver in..but board space is tight.

Conundrum 4: - Lack of power

I have one power supply with 11 9v taps, 1 12v and 1 18v (iirc). So currently have to unplug the Rangemaster and fuzz. Also chancing the Power Booster on 12 even though its technically a 9v pedal.

The pedals are quite large, but almost all are "toe able" to tweak on the fly, rather than the embarrassment of bending down mid set. For example the AD-999 covers a massive delay time range but dialing that in is easy with the knob size and pedal size. The BOSS act as buffers otherwise its true bypass for the rest. Overall, the output tone is very pelasing to my ears, and it's not noisy. Quite heavy though.

Did a gig Friday night, some Post-Punk fun with this board. Rechargeable PSU meant for a quick setup and tear down. Loving the tones, went direct to the board and it rocked. The Phaser gives a subtle auto-wah for just a couple of passages, may switch it out for the PH-3 just to dial in the sweep a bit better.

Really ticks the boxes, may sell off my second amp to fund an IR-2 as what I've heard, I certainly like.
