Interesting. I haven't seen something like this coming.

Very odd, though, that they chose blue for the treadle labelling and a blue LED instead of using red colour that the original rack version has.

Fun fact: this is the first compact pedal since the PSM-5 that has three letters in the name: SDE. The Fender models were another exception, but this one is a pure BOSS breed.

Well, compact digital delay is associated with that baby blue lettering in a lot of our minds... So I guess that's why they chose the blue. Red would kind of look like a Digital Metallizer lol.

Ah, that might indeed be the link. However, red had shown the legacy in a nice optical way.

I didn’t see this one coming. A while back Boss asked me what I would like to see and I said a stereo Univibe / Phaser combo. Nothing like having influence ! But I simply can’t resist a good delay. Pre ordered today

I think there are quite a few bass pedals with 3 letters, including your signature image pedal.

Ah, yes! The "B" always indicated "bass", so I didn't think about these pedals, haha! But you're absolutely right. Then my sentence above applies to guitar pedals in general.

Arrived today and this pedal is a lot of fun !

This is not just an excellent delay pedal. It’s possible to create all kinds of spatial effects that sound great in stereo. It reminded me of the DC-3 Digital Dimension / Space-D at times. There is a panning output option too which I haven’t got to yet and I can’t wait to have a play around with that.

The modulation and offset functions are very creative tools. It’s a match made in heaven for my Roland JC-40 amp. I know I’m going to spend hours and hours with this one.

If you have any questions, please fire away although it might take a while to reply as I know I’m going to find it difficult to put this one down :)
