Re: New BOSS pedals!
Has the FRV-1 become so rare and expensive in Japan? I don't think that I want to part with it so quickly. It think it is a keeper.
Oh, and it wasn't the manual, only the big warranty declaration or whatever that is. But it came with the original box and is in pristine condition.

Hard to find and expensive - collector bug is strong here! There was not actaully so many about iirc that far back, they were never that popular, probably the FBM-1 being the most used.Pepe wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 1:38 amHas the FRV-1 become so rare and expensive in Japan? Re: New BOSS pedals!
I just bought a BOSS ROD-10 Over Drive Distortion from the Micro Rack Series. I hope it will arrive in one piece, because it comes from a French seller at Reverb with no rating so far.
Re: New BOSS pedals!
They are definitely all worth having. Great find Pepe.

Re: New BOSS pedals!
No, I'm far away from having a complete set! Right now I only have two units of the RCL-10 Compressor/Limiter and an RRV-10 Digital Reverb. And the RPW-7 power supply. I have had the RCE-10 Digital Chorus Ensemble and the RPH-10 Phaser, but I didn't love them enough to keep them.
The whole Micro Rack Series consists of 13 effects and the power supply unit. I'm not striving for having a full set in this case.
The ROD-10 was 100 EUR including shipping. Quite a good price and I instantly bought it, because I was on the hunt for one for many months now. I'm looking forward to trying out the fuzz and the other modes! The seller said that he is going to send it off on monday.

Re: New BOSS pedals!
I didn't need another early DD-2. ( I already have a February 1984 one) They were first introduced in December of 1983, from all accounts.
However, I just bought a RARE non-FCC labelled one from January 1984. (381900) I couldn't resist...
I'm sure some here have an actual December 1983 batch though, right?

I unfortunately don't know the manufacture date of my DD-2 (it came without a label). Howwever. You can't go wrong with a DD-2, no matter when it was made
