Oh, I didn't expect a return of the Slicer! I always thought that it flopped in the Twin Pedal format.

A big plus is (as in the case of the otherwise not-overwhelming OC-5) that it has the looks of the late '80s and '90s BOSS four-knob-pedals again. Black faceplate, black knobs: a classic look that I like a lot.

COOL! Im also wanting to hear what the plain tremolo features are. looks like a real killer pedal!

Could the tremolo functions be a good alternative to a vintage PN-2? I love the analogue PN-2, but Tap Tempo is a great feature.

I've wondered before whether an SL-2 might be on the cards

My MD-200 has got a Slicer mode but it looks like this might have more options, especially with the app integration. Plus I'm a sucker for the compact pedal format

Is this the first Boss compact pedal to have MIDI?

An RT-2 might be possible as well someday. It's a shame that the RT-20 isn't available anymore.

Yeah, I'd imagine that's a real possibility. Although a lot of these effects can be found in the 200/500 series pedals, Boss obviously think there's still a market for individual compacts. Which is absolutely fine by me
