The pedal I received is black, with orange controls and has many a brother from another mother.
The one that comes to mind is the Boss HM-2, not sure if it complies with the 'many a brother' hint. But here goes :)

I think it's obvious who sent the Hotone pedal to Luke Drifter. I hope that it has found a good new home. It is the nicest sounding Tubescreamer variant that I have ever heard.

yesiree - its a nice pedal, thanks Pepe. The only other TS pedal I like is my Sparkle Drive. I had a quick play with this little guy on Christmas day, and got some similarly agreeable sounds. Great packaging too, Snug carry-box with plectrum and velcro patch etc. Im looking forward to trying it out some more when we gat back home. Thanks again, Pepe, and Happy Christmas eveyone!

That is not correct.
The brand name shares it's first half with another brand.

Pepe, is it the tremolo?

Maybe it helps when I say that the Soundtank pedal has a metal chassis. And then think what (apart from the Modern Fusion) could be the most Pepe-style pedal that came in the metal version. ;)

Oh. Right you are. When I saw "Pepe-style" I immediately thought of the lo-fi :)
