but yes I alo agree, the fuzz included on the more recent multi effects arent exactly the same as FZ-5 but they are surprisingly good sounding , I would definitely use it its just I have a handful of analog transistor fuzz pedals I like to use anyways

Re: A new Wazacraft pedal is on the way
Maybe. But this, like the univibe rumor, the collaboration rumor, don't fit with what the Waza lineup is about, in my opinion, which is re-releasing premium versions of pedals that people already love, with features that they in particular will appreciate. I think this pedal will be far more likely to be a FZ-2 than a FZ-5 just for this reason, because the FZ-2 has a reputation. The FZ-3 was pretty decent, but also pretty generic - not sure they'd be able to muster the hype and sales volumes for a Waza FZ-3.
Does anyone know when they are actually announcing the pedal?

Give the enormous upsurge in used prices/demand/popularity of the FZ-2, and the multiple clones plus the Behringer copy, I'd be very surprised it if were anything other than a FZ2w. I'd guess a few more tricks might be up the sleeve though for a Waza special mode, I'd go for a "Vintage" Superfuzz mode

Other outside bets...hmm well it could be a Univibe as that is "unlike anything we've ever done before" or far out perhaps a vintage tonebender type effort?

Fuzz would make sense in a lot of ways. As several have mentioned, the FZ-2 is a popular pedal - even though I never owned one, nor any other fuzz, apart from an old John Hornby Skewes (the original JHS) back when I was a teenager. Thing is, they have delay, modulation and overdrive in the range already, so a fuzz would then (more or less) give you a set of Waza pedals for all seasons, heck, there's even a Waza Tuner. Sure, we still want flanger and phaser, so maybe they'll get to those next time around. Or a Waza DD-something.
I still want a BF-2w, though.
Oh, and a PH-1rw
I still want a BF-2w, though.

Apparently it’s been leaked and it’s an FZ-2W. My source can’t be verified so I wouldn’t put money on it.

I've heard that fz2 rumor was based on a photoshop, the official BOSS comment is that it's “like nothing we've ever created before” so it might not even be a reissue at all.

Got briefly excited this morning when I got an e-mail from Boss announcing new products.
Turned out to be a new Nextone Special amplifier and some new cables.
No sign of the mystery Waza Craft pedal yet...

Interesting looking amp. But at the same time it has a very odd look with the 27 knobs. Some of my synthesizers have less knobs on the panel.
