New BOSS pedals!

It's that time of year again when most Japanese families and individuals have a New Year clean of their dwellings and eject the unwanted or unused, and thus the secondhand stores are usually quite stuffed with opportunity.

I couldn't resist picking up a second NF-1. Almost mint/scratch-free with box, warranty card and plastic bag

I don't have so many boxed items and they are certainly of more value collector wise. Quite aesthetically pleasing too.

Notes:

- Pepe noted the box is a "long dash" but the pedal is short. Curious
- We also discussed the "Slow Gear" mod. I wouldn't do it to this one, but I have another NF-1 somewhere...

The only noticeable sign of its age is discoloration in the power jack metal. Otherwise, it's quite a time machine piece!

Dates to August 1985 according to the decoder.

These days I am easily won over by a clean box and "Japan" on the bottom!

I'm pretty sure I saw a similar unit with box somewhere else recently so time and cash prevailing I may pick that one up too.
