This is one of my favourite Chorus pedals. In stereo it absolutely fills the room with sound.

Great find Pepe and certainly one to keep.

If I ever find another decent looking SCH-1, I might use this repaired unit for a rehousing project to do the Michael Landau modifications. :geek:

Are the Arion pedals with grey enclosures the oldest versions? Does anybody know that?

Don't know the answer to the question. Mine is the reissue SCH-Z and it looks like yours.

Yes, that’s how I understand it Pepe - the grey ones are the oldest. Some were made in Japan and others in Sri Lanka. I don’t know for sure, although I’d guess the the MIJ ones are probable the most desirable

Apparently, Eric Clapton had one on his board back in his early strat playing days which added to their appeal.

A few days ago I bought these three KORG nu:tekt pedal kits. They were sold with a huge discount directly at the German KORG Shop. The one on top is a Christmas gift, the other two as a reimbursement for the repair of the Roland Juno-60 synthesizer that I did for my friend (I refused to take money for it, although he offered a nice sum for my work).

This was one of the Christmas miracles. Found this yesterday... $100 US. Not on the radar, but the price was right.
1979 MXR Envelope Filter. Has the box, manual and sticker!
Works as it should, but I'm currently cleaning up the rotted foam.

The price "was right". What an understatement!

Here are the assembled KORG Nu:Tekt DIY kit pedals. The OD-S Overdrive was the first model, introduced in 2019, and this is the only model that takes a few steps to assemble it. The other two models simply need the pedal bottom to be attached with four screws and the potentiometer knobs to be pushed onto. I guess the DIY Kit thing must be an attractive distribution model for some reason.

I'm going to give a full report once I have explored what the trimpots of the Power Tube Reactor do in combination with my Stratocaster. So far I can tell that I was heavily surprised and impressed by the sound of the Over Drive. I hadn't expected falling in love with the simplest model of this triple.
