Re: New (broken) pedal day!
On that note how would one clean an all gold Wah?
I note a VOX V847AG for sale, another one of those specials I find irresistible (despite being a standard wah circuit), and also one I can't find much more about. The "AG" apparently referring to Azure Gold and there was a silver(ish) version) too. THere are some 847G's with a gold top and black base on reverb but not this one.
Anyway, gold...

Re: New (broken) pedal day!
Thank you. It is only a standard Crybaby, so worth almost nothing. But now it is true-bypass plus a couple of other tweaks, so maybe a bit more special.fuzzbuzzfuzz wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 1:35 amSuperb Laurie, lots of skill and patience, excellent job! <round of applause>![]()

Re: New (broken) pedal day!
So the other one was V847-SA "Silver Azure". Which itself is a silver but slightly off yellow color. Hard to see in the light.
Both USA made rather than the Chinese V-847A.
Addictive collectability

Here we go. This is the Gold Azure (photos from seller site). You can see some degradation of the surface and some greenish parts etc. Could it clean up? ANd how?
