The guitar's headstock looks absolutely cheap. They should have used the standard BOSS logo.

Haven't been on in a while but had to immediately after seeing the new guitar. I completely agree with all of you. It makes zero sense to not use the official BOSS logo. The font they opted for looks like someone just wrote "Boss" on it with a sharpie 
It gives me "This costs $125 and is a children's starter guitar" vibe even though it clearly isn't. I'm sure it'll likely be a decent guitar but that's the vibe haha. If it had original logo I'd likely be much more interested in it.

All the blurb seems to be describing it as "Boss's first guitar" but they released this one a few years back:
