Waza, Nextone, Katana...lots of different amp lines
Re: A new Wazacraft pedal is on the way
Boss are now teasing, what looks like, germanium transistors. Looking more like a fuzz now. Also saying that it can only be made in limited quantities, which also stacks up for a fuzz.

Monty Python:
- Well, I'll ask him, but I don't think he'll be very keen.
- He's already got one, you see.
- What?
- He says they've already got one!
- Are you sure he's got one?
- Oh, yes. It's very nice.

Germanium and that Boss hammertone finish... huh, that's something. #ohnobaddecisionahead

My guess, it is a FZ-3 germanium transistors.

Apologies for taking this thread sideways with Month Python quotes.
My intent was to suggest that the world has a plethora of fuzz pedals already. Lots to choose from! Would Boss really do yet another one? Can they sell thousands of this type of pedal? I dunno...

The python quote was perfect though, all the way down to Boss being somewhat inscrutable like the French in Holy Grail - there is no explaining them or their reasoning.laurie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 2:25 pmApologies for taking this thread sideways with Month Python quotes.

What's crazy to me is that out of the 100+ pedals Boss has released, they've done exactly what, 3 fuzz pedals? Heck, you had more fuzz models than that.

I think its easy for Boss to sell thousands of pedals of anything they choose to make - they have a huge distribution advantage compared to boutiques. Some shops carry some boutique pedals, but all shops carry all Boss pedals (or at least can get them all)
Boss' financials must be fascinating though...they have so much...stuff, that I never ever see or hear of being used. How much of it do they make, and where does it go? If you're out there buying Waza amps, a DB-60 metronome, and Boss pancake cables, maybe a new Boss guitar strap and a few Boss picks as a toss-in, who are you?
