No end in sight for Canada Post strike.

Anything to/from me will happen in the New Year.
Still on strike. If you will be receiving a pedal from me, it will be in the New Year. I'll send as soon as the strike ends and the backlog has cleared.

Well...something arrived at the doorstep today!

Guess that makes me the lucky first to receive something 8-)

Maybe things will start moving again tomorrow. I can't imagine the backlog they will have to clear before they are accepting new packages.

Canada Post is working again. Backlog still not cleared. I'll send the tour parcel likely next week.

my Christmas pedal from someone else has been delivered to me

someone else's Christmas pedal from me has landed in a large regional city near the recipient, and still might get there before Christmas

My outgoing parcel is sent. ZERO hope of it getting to the recipient before about February because of the backlog from the postal strike. Plus it it was big and heavy this year... so it is going "slow boat". It will be a nice surprise for the recipient, just not at Christmas time :?

A parcel is waiting for me at the post office. I can't pick it up before Friday (Germany has three Christmas days in a row every year). It had been delivered today if there hadn't been the inevitable customs fees that I have to pay at the post office.

A parcel has arrived - before Xmas in fact.

So shall we kick off with clues? :)

Some clues:

Has small and large knobs
Not an overdrive
Neither Japanese nor American
A cheerful color, Japanese breakfast hmm. 🤔

What do you think? 😆

Sure, let's start with your gift! Yesterday I went to the post office to pick up my parcel that had arrived on time, hadn't there been the customs fees that for some reason weren't payable on direct delivery. Four out of seven parcels arrived (almost) on time. Much better than initially expected!
