The only partially elegant solution I can see is if Pepe can sort something out with the folks sending pedals to Gasgano and me, then Gasgano and I swap pedals. Or sclitheroe/Gasgano/Laurie do a three-way swap keeping it in Canada.

That way maybe we would receive the package before Christmas...

Just a thought.
A good thought! Although you and sclitheroe have been direct exchange partners for a few times already. But it's going to be a Christmas tour, so what the heck? ;)

Same here. There is no point in staying on this time around.

Again, if my Santa sent me something already, we'll work something out.

The crazy thing is: Keep in mind while Laurie and I live in the same country, we are more than 3500 km apart... I think it's a testimony that the problem is deeply rooted: it's not just local in some area of Canada: It's everywhere and spreads on 5 (and a half for Newfoundland) time zones. That Canada Post strike is getting out of hand and honestly, I don't see this being solved quickly.
I responded to Pepe's email - I'll pull out too, it's just going to be disappointing for someone if my parcel arrives in March, that's ridiculous and I had no idea that was the kind of backlog going on.

But if you three guys want to do a Canada-only exchange, that's a cool thing. In any case better than the other option.

Personally, unless Laurie and Gas-man have their hearts set on it, I say Canada just sits this one out - all three of us have exchanged pedals previously, I'm almost certain.

We'll catch up with our international friends on a spring/summer tour.

Good for me. I'll sit it out.

I was away for the weekend but I got the e-mails. I'm good with that.

Sorry to hear about the Canadian post disrupting your ability to participate. I hope the next Pedal Exchange will allow everyone to share in the fun.

Here in Québec we say "When chicken have teeth" or "In the week of the Three Thursdays".
