In general the price of non-SSD-1s MIJ is now about $200 equivalent in Japan. So based on that (and if this a genuine SS issue), then the price seems fair. Would I buy it personally? No, because they'd be shipping on top!

I know nothing alas of verifying the circuit details though!

I'd love to have an all original silver screw SD-1. However, the one in the 1st post here is clearly a fake!

The case maybe original, (batch 0300) but the circuit is from a later SD-1... :?

Nice spot. Thats the later diode set I observe - circa 1986 ish (matching my SD-1s of that era).

I do have an earlier board though, so haha a frankenstein would appear lol

All right, congrats fernieite, you spotted the fraud!

This pedal is for sale in Japan, and the original circuitry was swapped for a later circuit board.

I posted this fraud to show you guys the problem that has being growing, even in Japan, with the vintage pedal prices skyrocketing due to scarcity, people are doing scams to make money over the new and distracted collectors.

So be aware, if you're not sure about your next purchase, ask here and we will help you on that.
