The only picture I have from a 7100 DS-1 is from the components side of the pcb, so I can't say the pcb version of it, but my earliest DS-1 is a 7600 and it is already a "C" version.Analog Sound Channel wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 6:38 am
The oldest DS-1 I could find images of was a serial 7200, this one has PCB 052-286B.
Would the 7100 have a PCB 052-286A?
I've been wanting to write a full article about some pedals for a long time, to post on my channel, but information is scarce, does anyone know if this PCB exists?
052-286A for the Boss DS-1.

Re: New BOSS pedals!
My October 1978 DS-1 is from the 7500 batch.
Does anyone know if it's a revision C or B? It would save me from having to open it up! I'm too lazy....

Re: New BOSS pedals!
It's probably a revision "C", I just made a research and found pictures of a 7400 and it is a "C", so your 7500 is, most probably, also a "C".
7100 = A (confirmed)
7200 = B (confirmed with Google image search)
7300 = ?
7400 = C (confirmed with Google image search)
7500 = C (confirmed with Google image search)
7600 = C (Mine)
7700 = C?
7800 = C?
7900 = C (confirmed with Google image search)

Re: New BOSS pedals!
I received a BOSS RPH-10 this week. The knobs are yellowed, but apart from that everything works great. The modes are 6-, 10- and 12-stage phaser. Sounds good! I'm not sure if the modes II and III are 100% identical with that of the BOSS PH-2, but having a manual knob is a big plus.

I don't know if you can link a flanger and a phaser to sync the LFO. It would be a great thing, though!

Nice score, Pepe! You're building quite the collection of micro racks
