New BOSS pedals!
Re: New BOSS pedals!
Today a pack arrived from Japan with 3 new pedals, among them a rarity, a OD-1 with the JRC4558DX chip, first that I saw in my time collecting. (I'm still trying to acquire a SD-1 with the "X" chip)
It is not in good condition but then again, to me rarity overrules condition.
It came with damaged knobs and a wrong thumbscrew, but fortunately I have spares to put it back to the original state.
The new FZ-1W also arrived, and a mint with manual and box FZ-2.

What an excellent haul! Congratulations
Re: New BOSS pedals!
Thanks guys.
Yeah, a fortune, unfortunately...
But I am crazy about rarities and also "have to" keep the collection complete.
And a FZ-2 in the box with manual, in mint condition, is another big rarity nowadays.
I still have another 3 pedals pack coming from Japan, with another rarity in it, but after that I will make a break in my shopping spree.
Oh, I am sooooo close to have all variants from models that I like and use, OD-1, SD-1 and DS-1... Hummpf!!!

Some nice pedals there.
Re: New BOSS pedals!
Thanks Laurie
I'm more of a hunter on pedals than one who should be able to buy them here and now on Ebay and Reverb. I only sit on a couple of Norwegian pages and Pq-4 is a rare pedal here in Norway. It was for sale in 2020 and I lost it because I was working. Then I had searched far and wide as they say.
As of today, only 3 pedals are missing that are difficult to obtain.
PQ-4 Parametric EQ
PN-2 Swing Pan
DC-3 Digital Space D
Of newer pedals that I have not rushed to buy,
OC-5 Octaver (it is difficult to get hold of here in Norway)
FZ-1w Fuzz
I have many of the half rack series and have a good part of Boss' floor processors, have a part of guitar synths and like most people here in the forum you are addicted and it just tingles in the blood every time something new comes out from Boss.

Hi, Tnsen! That sounds impressive. So you also have the SP-1, SG-1 and so on? The PN-2 and PQ-4 are among my most used BOSS pedals. Each of them is worth every single øre.
Re: New BOSS pedals!
Welcome Tnsen.
