This is a new Doc. which some of you may enjoy.
It does have some new info, also contains info about the venues where Nirvana played here in the UK.
Some of those venues are no longer.
Just watch it to get a feel how those early 1990s days were.

Thanks for posting this man. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
It's hard to believe that all of that was 30 years ago!

No problem, yes I enjoyed it too!
I think Nirvana still sounds fresh today.
Today I passed the area of one of the venues where they used to play. From how the area looks today you can see and feel how much time has passed since Nirvana played here: Everything has cleaned up and looks more modern. The venue is no longer today.
This particular venue was never a great place to play really, but it was somewhere where people could get gigs and play.
You often ended up with a bad sound on the night, but you knew this before hand, so what the heck, just play and enjoy!
I think the doc. also shows also how things have changed over time for bands and the whole infra structure.
Most venues feel far more modern and slicker today, but the approach may not be better.
Also the open mike nights have taken over from the small venues, and open mike nights are very different in nature compared to a venue where bands could just play.
Not many venues left with a DIY approach, maybe we need a revival of a new sort of Punk Rock to rectify this....?..!
