Re: New BOSS pedals!
I'm possibly interested in the HM-2... email me price and/or desired trades?
Re: New BOSS pedals!
Well, I found a pedal I wasn't really looking for...
Saw a CE5 at Guitar Center, paint looked kind of old, like perhaps 20th century. The label and rubber skid were removed and replaced with velcro, so I asked if I could open it up and take a look...
Yep, MN3007 and MN3101 chips. I then made sure everything worked as it should. Kind of backwards, isn't it? haha
Best part? It was priced at $44.99 and I had a $40 rewards bonus from my Guitar Center card, so the pedal cost me $5.42 after tax!
Did I need another Chorus (I already have a silver screw CE2 and a CE2B)? No.
Does the CE5 sound great? Yes!
Am I just being silly over a $5 pedal? No! It's a great pedal, but yes--it's better since it cost less than a fast food breakfast.

Re: New BOSS pedals!
My analogue CE-5 resides permanently on my bass board. I use it with my fretless.

Re: New BOSS pedals!
I found a reasonably priced MZ-2 with box in Spain. I have to redo my old demo.
Re: New BOSS pedals!
Finally ! I found a DS-1 from 1980 with a thumb cut box ! There’s a nice bit of box candy with it too. This one is a milestone for me as it is my 200th Boss pedal
The question now is do I keep the gig dust on it or clean it up ?

Gig dust... hmmmm... I'd probably clean it up. But opinions vary
