All right, no time to lose, order placed to my man in Japan. Waiting for his answer.

Update, he said yes, now the excruciating pain of wait. :|

Chickenhead knobs on a BOSS pedal are highly unusual.
Too right. They’re going to play havoc with my OCD tendencies :o
In my case, it's like they are speaking directly to my soul. I love chickenheads. :D

Oh, I like them too. Just seeing them on a Boss pedal is a bit, well, weird

No BearBoy, he was not aware of it.

So, it's a TB-2w Tone Bender:

That will do me ! I suspect these are going to be tricky to get hold of, unless, of course, the ‘limited availability’ thing is a cunning marketing ploy ;)

Very strange and very cool at the same time. So it's a tribute? Or a collaboration of some sorts? I suppose that Sola Sound is not in business anymore since a couple of years, am I right?

EDIT: I just see at the English Wikipedia entry that KORG used to own the Tone Bender rights in the '90s. And the rights are now at the original owner, Macari's, who had the sister company Sola Sound. Well, I rather like to see more of this type of collaborations instead of the BOSS/JHS Angry Driver.

Yep, a Tone Bender. Nice, very nice.

After the release of the chicken knobs picture, I was convinced it would be some sort of a Tone Bender.

The voltage switch is a surprise, kinda like the transistors bias knob of the Butler Tube driver, but with fixed positions. Clever.

Seven volts to simulate a dying battery, nine to bias the transistors "properly", and twelve... I don't know why. :)

The only thing that bugs my mind is the insertion in the waza craft line, no need for that, unless the higher price range, of course. :x

With the Brazilian currency (Real) dropping it's value as it is, plus the taxes, I know I will pay a load of money for this one...
