Here's the equivalent schematic.

The "clip R28" mod removes the 22k feedback resister shown in red at the top of the schematic.

And... an important comment (apologies if this is covering old ground for everyone):
"Do not desolder the resistor! I can’t stress this enough – one of the through-plated holes also serve as a pathway between the two sides of the circuit board, and it is very easy to damage it (leaving you with a dead pedal)"

Re: PH-3 feedback?
I do like and own the PH1 and PH2. These two cover the gamut of phaser tones pretty well.
The PH1 is the classic old school 4 stage sound, much like a Phase 90 or Small Stone (which I also own original 70s era versions).
The PH2 is cool for the deeper, funky 12 stage sound, much like my old MuTron Phasor II (which is 6 stage).

The LGP has been reduced in price (-20%). Maybe you want to grab it now? It will for sure sound different from the Phase 90 and therefore it might be a valuable addition to your sound palette.sclitheroe wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 6:40 pmHmm..could grab that and a Phase 90 for roughly the cost of a PH-3Pepe wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 6:36 pmI like my PH-3. It has some really decent modes. I have yet to test the 4 pole mode against my recently acquired PH-1R. Rise and Fall modes are unique and especially great sounding with synth strings.
What about a DingoTone LGP? Here's one in Edmonton: https://reverb.com/item/20004813![]()

Re: PH-3 feedback?
I'd give you one if I had it. I only kept the one pedal for myself
This Fuzz Architect project has got me going on pedals again... I've been seriously considering a V2 phaser done differently. A lot has been learned since the last design and while I wouldn't change the fundamental tone, the whole thing would be evolved.

Re: PH-3 feedback?
Sclitheroe, You have just begun a long journey into the world of phasers. Here's my thoughts: In my opinion the Phase 90 isn't the greatest. I'm very happy you like it, and luckily I think you can experience even better phase pedals in the future. Although the 3 pedals you mentioned are different beasts, and probably should be in different categories, their difference make it worth trying (or owning) all of them.
The PH-3 has modes that only digital can create. Those modes (like step mode) are worth it to me, so I do own it and am very happy. PH-3 may be a bit too hi-fi for reggae, but it can achieve a lot of usable sounds. The Dingotone Phaser is subtle but the sweetest sounding phaser I've ever used. Hopefully in the future you will be able to try, or own, all of these other pedals.

Ohh... one that was actually made by my hands. Even bettersclitheroe wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2019 4:00 amHah! You know what's crazy - the pedal is from 2010 per the Reverb posting. Time flies! I've got the complete set now.
