32FZ pedals - small batch incoming

Post by laurie » Thu Aug 21, 2025 1:01 pm

Time to use those 2SB175B transistors I harvested here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1019

In case there is interest I'll walk through the entire process including the new approaches (e.g. using this viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1015).

I'll be using PCBs for this batch (and future batches). The old way (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=357&p=2076&hilit=32fz#p2076) is too fiddly. With careful design of the PCB there will be no audible difference.

Here is the updated schematic (right click and "open in new tab"):

Ooh I missed this post. So a four knob hybrid as before?

It is an excellent fuzz. Excuse my ignorance of schematics, is it simply the switching area that has been revised? Any plans for additional features or controls etc.

Anyway glad you’ve got a project to get your skilled teeth into! :)

Same as last time. Making some more of the same because I unexpectedly found some more transistors.
