Welcome to the forum!

The digital multi effects pedals that I have used in the past didn't have any global settings apart input and output volume. I fear that you have to create a single patch that you are absolutely happy with and copy it to every single memory space and move on from there. Or you have to tweak every single patch to your desired settings.

Should there be another way to do it, you can certainly find it in the manual. The short Startup Guides and the in-depth Reference Guides can be downloaded via this link:

For the record Pepe: The Boss MS-3 has a global EQ for output and that one applies to all patches. I assume it'll be the same on the GT-1 and GT-1B as they both run on a similar brain. You press MENU, then a GLOBAL option appears with a global level of volume, bass, mid, mid freq, compression... Kind of the same as the "preamp" section of classic Boss multi-effects (like the GT-6, ME-50, etc.), just hidden in a menu instead of being knobs in plain sight.

No idea how the VE-22 brain works, at first glance, manual seems to suggest we are right and the only "global" option is master volume, even if the same "Menu/Outputl/ path is available.
