The OD-S is normally 259 EUR, the other two models 279 EUR, pretty much what you have there in Canada. If you want I can purchase units for you (and for all the others outside the EU who are interested in buying these).

Are the Arion pedals with grey enclosures the oldest versions? Does anybody know that?

Yes to my knowledge grey is older. Mid 80s?

A few days ago I bought these three KORG nu:tekt pedal kits. They were sold with a huge discount directly at the German KORG Shop. The one on top is a Christmas gift, the other two as a reimbursement for the repair of the Roland Juno-60 synthesizer that I did for my friend (I refused to take money for it, although he offered a nice sum for my work).

A new toy came in last week. This Ken Multi MDL-7 Analog Delay (the same as the Aria ADL-1) is a really good and surprisingly bright sounding BBD delay (MN3205). After tweaking the trimpots it has a good maximum delay time and feedback can go to self-oscillation now. It has stereo out with splitted direct and effect signal, which is very nice.

The pedal came without the battery cover and it was missing a complete knob, hence the low price of 20 EUR including shipping. I took the missing parts from an awful (!!!) sounding Ken Multi MDT-28 Bass Distortion that I bought for a few Euros a few months ago. It doesn't look too pretty, but it does the job. Now I have a cheap and compact analogue delay that I can take onto stage any time.

Our dear member snufkin had a green knob cap in his parts bin. I'm happy that he didn't throw it away at some point. He sent it to me and now this analog delay pedal looks much better! Thank you, snufkin!

I bought this Arion SDI-1 for quite cheap at ebay a few days ago. Now I have two Arion Distortion pedals. I used the knobs of the unit that was Made in Sri Lanka to complete my SCH-1 Stereo Chorus. This Distortion is Made in Japan, though, sadly missing two of the original knobs.

But to my surprise it had an original Arion 9V battery inside!

I don't really want to loot the Japanese Distortion for parts. I think one of the potentiometers is an anti log type anyway. That Stereo Chorus works and is quite solid, so that's okay for me.

I just did a quick test of both Arion Distortion units side by side. The model from Sri Lanka has a bit more headroom. With my Fender Stratocaster with single coils I have to turn the volume knob of the Japanese model up to at least 3:00. So if you use humbuckers you should go for the less valuable model from Sri Lanka. I haven't noticed any other difference in sound so far.
