Hi there!

Post by Arpeggiator » Tue Nov 26, 2024 11:49 am

I’m back after what must’ve been a 10-year hiatus…time flies. I was a member of the original Bossarea forum and SBZ as well. At some point I sold off almost all of my collection (around 40-50 pedals, many of which would be worth A LOT more today I suppose). The only pedal I kept was my first Boss, a CE-3 that I bought like 20 years ago and that I NEVER use. :D

10+ years on, having moved house three times, getting married and having a kid (and one more on the way) since, I’m seeing myself back in the Boss game somewhat. I’ve become massively enamored with the Waza stuff and have once again built a ( very modest, small) collection. Ain’t no escaping the Boss virus after all…

Great to see some of the people of the olden days still around. Pepe, you are a true legend around these parts! Although I realize the forum is much quieter and it will never be the same as back then (is anything ever?), it feels good to be back!

Great to have you aboard again! Very belated congratulations (marriage, kids)! :D

Somehow forums are the dinosaurs of the internet, but they aren't completely extinct yet. The ilovefuzz forum doesn't get that frequented as much anymore, either. No comparison to 10, 15 years ago.

Should you be eager again to participate in a pedal tour, we are doing these once a year as a Christmas tour. You are invited to participate, if you want.

Thanks guys! I'll think about the Christmas tour...I'd have to find a pedal I could send first.

Reminds me of that time when I sent a Silver Screw DS-1 to somebody at one of those tours...I'd probably think twice nowadays

Silver Screw DS-1?! I really don't remember that one! :o

In one tour you gave me a CE-2B and an HM-3, which I still like a lot. Image

Welcome back and great to hear that you are a father - happy days ! :D

My family has grown too and I now have a grandson. I’m still collecting Boss pedals and he also loves them - the dynasty has been established
