SWITCHES

I used to use "Carling" momentary switches but the price has gone through the roof.

I've just purchased some of these:
https://www.mouser.ca/ProductDetail/612 ... MT2B2M1QEH

They seem very well made, and have the advantage that they are SPDT, which means they can be used as NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) momentary switches.

Because they are SPDT they can also be wired with a "polarity" switch to change from NO to NC (similarly to an an FS-5U).

I don't know how readily available these are in Europe and elsewhere, but they seem like a good option in North America.

ENCLOSURES

On a similar theme ... I used to use genuine Hammond 1590B boxes. But the price has gone through the roof.

I've just purchased some of these (on sale for CAD$33 for 5 pieces at the time of writing):
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09CTF2NMN?psc ... ct_details

They seem well made, and I'll be using them for the next few builds.

Thank you for sharing. These are great finds!
The Hammonds and Carlings are really expensive now. I am pretty much out of all of my old stash of Carlings that accumulated over the early 21st Century.
