Over in another thread I showed a new toy:

It needs the faders cleaning and lubricating.
Cleaning - use a good quality contact cleaner. I use
https://www.mgchemicals.com/products/el ... -with-ppe/
The contact cleaner will take all the lubricant off the faders and make them feel even worse... sticking and rough.
I'm using this to lubricate the sliding mechanism in the fader:

Hey Laurie. If you haven’t already finished the cleaning/lubrication, would you mind taking a few photos of the process? I’ve got a couple of old devices (a Boss mixer and a Fostex 4-track) that could probably do with a bit of tlc but have never attempted anything like this before and wouldn’t want to wreck anything (yes, I know, I’m clueless
)

Regretfully it was done before I saw this.
If it helps I can talk you through it?

Faders are clean, and lubricated.
The 75mm faders on these boards were never "good"... but they are back to being usable.
It is a cheap back-up/"B" system board for the price.
