Regretfully, no. The types of circuit I am able-to-manufacture/interested-in simply won't fit in a guitar. Pedals only.visserman wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 2:15 pmLaurie, could you build a design based on a circuit you put into your guitar? Not interested in a pedal really. As you mentioned you have a lot of low gain transistors, a circuit like this may fit the bill.
Maybe some other folks here may be interested as well.
I am not sure if you would need to know specifics of the guitar, since this could turn it into a "one-off custom idea" which is less interesting for you.
Just let us know what the possibilities are, and also, if other people are interested in something like that as well.
For me, I would like it, just one sound, ideally operated by a push-pull button.
Cheers

Re: New toy
A transistor based Ge OD, eh? I'll take two please.
Re: New toy
Is it possible to mod an OD-2 to use PNP Ge transistors?sclitheroe wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 9:08 pmA transistor based Ge OD, eh? I'll take two please.

Re: New toy
Thank you for that sentiment.
Much water under many bridges before I have something that actually works. I'll keep you posted.
Re: New toy
Hummm, I have a spare OD-2 here, some Ge transistors, sockets...
Although I didn't like the Electro Harmonix Ge overdrive, my only reference.
Thank you Laurie, I will think about it.

Thanks for your reply Laurie.
Would like something simple as it will make travelling easier.
Cheers!
