Well...haha...that was sort of a double surprise, with a slight twist in the tail which ahem will become clear later I think!

Anyway clues..

White
Two knobs one colour, two knobs another colour.
LED and footswitch.
Is it a twin DingoTone pedal? Maybe a combination of the BOSS tributes OD-1 and SG-1? Laurie did some twin pedals a few years ago.

And can someone please own-up to being my Santa? I need to know who to thank...
I can reveal it was our kind Admin who pedaled me the wah.

Dirk...BOSS HM-3?
It's not Boss, not Aria either.

This one comes under many brandnames, you are correct in stating it is an overdrive.

I know exactly what has been sent to Dirk so I'm not going to take part at the guessing game this time. I can only say that it's not obvious and take another look at Dirk's reply to Joske_Turbo:

The one that comes to mind is the Boss HM-2, not sure if it complies with the 'many a brother' hint. But here goes :)
That is not correct.
The brand name shares it's first half with another brand.

Image Admin received a blue pedal from ?

Image Dirk received a black pedal with orange controls from ?

Image fuzzbuzzfuzz received a white pedal with four knobs in two different colours from ?

Image Joske_Turbo received a phaser made specifically for the Japanese market from ?

Image laurie received a Jim Dunlop Cry Baby from Admin
guessed by: Pepe

Image Luke Drifter received a Hotone Golden Touch Overdrive from Pepe
guessed by: Joske_Turbo

Image Pepe received an Ibanez Soundtank SF5 60's Fuzz from Joske_Turbo
guessed by: Dirk

"The brand name shares it's first half with another brand"....

That's just mean. And indecipherable :)

It's really easy if you consider it's an analog pedal, but the brand name suggests otherwise. ;)
And happy new year by the way.
