All the ones I can think of are either overdrives or multi-effects...

Or is it a Line6 Pod?

What makes you think it's a Line6?
It needs multiple batteries and it is widely used as a USB interface rather than a driver or multi-effect alone (therefore matching the "not primary function" clue). Also I meant Line 6 Pocket Pod as it is more on the "compact" side of things, widely available on the aftermarket, so it made it a good candidate for a CHEAP pedal exchange haha.

You missed another clue by correcting a word from my last post

OH.

Is it a GD-55 or GD-100 from George Dennis?

YA BABY!

I'm super happy because:
- it's a Boss, what's not to like about that
- I've never owned a wah pedal before

It's a great chance for me to learn how to use a wah, and check out the various types of wah effects. So I'm really looking forward to messing around with it this weekend (haven't had a chance yet, truth be told - I adopted a dog just before Christmas, so I've been super busy with her, plus all the usual family and holiday shenanigans)

OH YEAH!

I had one in the past. Sturdy as hell. I decided to go the Morley Mini-Maverick optical/switchless way, but I did love the feel of the PW-10 and it was also my first wah. I now have an MS-3 with an EV-30 and kind of found the V-Wah feel again. You'll have PLENTY of fun with it. I think my favorite mode was Cry-Wah, although the Mini-Maverick has a more modern sound like the one I use on the MS-3 now.
