Pepe - you were on the right track with "wah". But which one?

And can someone please own-up to being my Santa? I need to know who to thank...
I think that I'm allowed to tell you who it was. I'll send you a PM. ;)

Which wah pedal could it be? There are only a handful of models on the market, so we should guess it in no time at all.

Jim Dunlop Cry Baby JP-95 John Petrucci Signature Wah? :?

Jim Dunlop Cry Baby
And, interestingly, I didn't have one. I have a vintage Jen wah that is too valuable to use every-day, so this standard wah will be a much appreciated addition to my board.

Sincere thanks for a great pedal!

Joske_Turbo: is it a Guyatone pedal? Maybe a PS-019 Phase Shifter? (Wild stab in the dark. ;) )
Pretty close already! It's not a Guyatone pedal though, but it is a phase shifter :)
Other candidates:

Seiwa SC-1 Phaser
Tokai TPH-1 Phaser
Tokai TPH-2 Phaser
Vesta Fire Stereo Phase

One of these? :)
Close, but no cigar! Perhaps I should elaborate a bit on my 'made in the Far East for the Far East' hint: the pedal is from a line released specifically for the Japanese market.

Pepe, is your pedal an Ibanez Soundtank chorus?

Oh, that was a great guess, Dirk! Indeed, it's a Soundtank pedal. But it isn't the chorus.

Not quite there :D Final hint: the company also released pedals for the international market, although mostly under another (quite famous) brand name.
