OK. So it is a "transparent" something or other.sclitheroe wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 11:40 pmIt's not covering up any lack of technique on my part. That's probably a huge clue, but we got a lot of pedals to get through
A "vintage" LauriePedals FA-1 clone?

January 2009, serial number 00104, to be exact.
Pretty awesome in my opinion, and with a planned pedalboard teardown and rebuild this holiday, I'm going to slot this thing in.
I'm super happy to be adding this pedal to my collection, it made my holidays!

Holy crap! That was essentially me being a narcissistic troll... wow.
00104 is from late 2008 (dated 2009 when it shipped). It was the first batch of pedals ever for me. Build isn't as tidy as the 32-OD (13 years of practice will do that...), but the function is completely authentic FA-1.

We need a picture of that "vintage" pedal!
I didn't know that Dirk had one of these. I only knew of a later HZD Boost model.
Admin received a pedal from fuzzbuzzfuzz
chromandre received a pedal from ?
Dirk received a pedal with non standard shape, 3 knobs, 2 switches and non standard power supply from Pepe
fuzzbuzzfuzz received a pedal from ?
Joske Turbo
laurie received a vintage DOD Studio Bifet Preamp 410 from Jeremy
guessed by: chromandre
Luke Drifter
Pepe received a pedal from sclitheroe
sclitheroe received a LauriePedals FA-1 clone from Dirk

I was actually going to comment on that - your soldering has come a long way over the years, as has your general builds - bits of foam labelled "battery end" and a note to "ensure board is correctly seated" are .... quaintlaurie wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 2:37 amHoly crap! I can post up some pics if people are interested.
I am super happy to have it, and grateful that Dirk parted with it - I was shocked when I opened it up and realized what I had.

This is a picture of that batch, taken January 3, 2009. Your pedal is one of these...

This is why it's no fair guessing against Pepe with this, he's keeping score of everybody's pedals.
You must have huge lists!
I believe I got the FA-1 clone from Laurie himself along with the Ibanez flanger a couple of years ago.

Now, how about mine?
