annnnnnd Laurie takes the prize!

It is indeed the flanger of the range, the earliest MIJ version. Visually reminiscent of the BOSS Bf-2. I have yet to try them side by side but I'm looking forward to it!
Try it in stereo if you can. I think the stereo spread they generate is excellent. ;)

Years ago I had the Japanese Stero Flanger as well. It can produce some very funny sounds, quite different from the BF-2. 8-)

I think it's okay if I reveal that Joske_Turbo sent it to Japan.
Admin and chromandre can come up with clues now.

I haven't found further time to try out the DS-1X that sclitheroe sent me. I will do that in the next days and maybe I can give you a detailed review then. So far it was no instant love, but the pedal can produce some very nice sounds and it is quite versatile.

That looks like a really nice pedal. I had an SCH-1 and an SCH-Z years ago... Arion pedals are pretty rare here. I've been on the look-out for anything from the series and the only thing that has come up in the last 10 years is a tuner (not worth the asking price).

Hi all

I'm afraid I have some bad news... I received a letter from the post office in the beginning of december about a parcel for me, stating that I had to pay import costs before they could deliver it.
The letter got lost in a pile of mail and I only found it today.
I tried to pay the import cost but unfortunately the pedal is already on its way back to the sender...

Annoying situation and totally my bad :?
At this point, I guess it is easy to deduce the pedal came from me.

Update - nothing seen back here in Canada yet. The pedal can be replaced, but there was something else in the package that I will wait to get back so I can resend.

No instant love for it from me either, but a very serviceable pedal. One reason I thought you might like to experiment with it is because of your interest in synths - I thought perhaps the MDP would work really well with those

Yes indeed, thankyou Joske_Turbo!

I have not actually had a chance to give it a proper run to, but once I do I'll report back.:)

Yes, I have been tempted to pick up the first edition delay and chorus too, the latter having a good reputation. They can be found here, but like all things, when you finally decide you want one they vanish!

My first tuner was there's (solid) and I did sell the early Distortion twice in the past. The casing is off-putting but actually pretty solid. I'm curious to pick up the others but my collection is too large really to keep a handle on..

You're very welcome, I hope you'll like it :D

I also have the Arion Phaser and Delay and they're both really great pedals, I especially love the delay, real analog goodness.

Yes, thanks again!

Does your delay have black writing across the (yellow/orange) battery cover or is it silver?

Very tempted to pick one up, though I have no real need
