There is nothing extra inside. I thought there would be a certificate with the serial number like xxx / 7000 too but not even that. Pretty bog standard really.
That's a bit of shame. There's a history of Boss on their website at the moment (LINK). It would have been nice to maybe have had something in printed form included with the anniversary pedals.

The anniversary would have been a good opportunity for an updated version of the Boss Book too.

I haven't been here in a while as I sadly I haven't been playing guitar due to certain everyday life circumstances but I've been following all the recent Boss releases. Just saw the SD-1 and immediately had to come here  gassin on these knowing they're limited to 7000 with the slick paint jobs but I thought the same thing with the boards.

If I were going to use a DS-1 or SD-1, I'd probably want them modified but those are slick shells. If I had to buy one, I'd probably do SD-1. Definitely prefer the sound of black label DS-1s unless they changed 'em in recent years. Either way, I probably wouldn't use one for anything other than playing some Nirvana Bleach songs. Could probably find a use for a stock SD-1 tho or at the very least it looks cool :P

Are these pedals using SMD mounting?
