Finally got myself a DD-8. Also got an EV-30 expression pedal which I'm using with my RV-6.
Both of them do a great job but...
The manual(s) for the DD-8 ain't great, even by Boss standards. The Warp mode, for example... there's absolutely no mention anywhere of using the foot switch to create the effect. Without it, it's just a standard delay. The description "Creates a dreamlike effect" is completely meaningless. It'd be much better if it told you exactly what it did, and of course, how to make that happen.
Anyhow, gripes about the manual aside, I'm very happy with the DD-8, and the EV-30 does exactly what I want it to do, so there's that.
