Does anybody know if the BC-2, FBM-1, FDR-1, and ST-2 digital amp modeling pedals have analog bypass; i.e., does the guitar signal still run through the pedals' AD/DA converters even when the effect is bypassed? I have read that is a "thing" with some digital pedals. I realize that these pedals are all buffered bypass and not true bypass. I am attempting to decide if I want to put them on my small board for use with my Katana or my big board that I will use with my tube amps.
I figure, since I alread have a digital amp (Katana), there is no sense putting any pedals on my big board that will essentially turn my tube amps into digital amps.
Boss amp modeling pedals?
Re: Boss amp modeling pedals?
For anybody interested, I emailed Boss and they responded that their amp modeling pedals all bypass the AD/DA converters when the pedals are disengaged.
