These do seem to have turned up in the shops very quickly. Quicker than the DS-1w, from what I've seen, and I'm still waiting for places to get hold of the RE-202 (a small number of these turned up months back but nothing, that I've managed to catch, since).

I was at Long & McQuade yesterday and saw one in the flesh. Was THIS CLOSE to just pulling the trigger.
