Rc202 looper in send/return on Gt1000 core?

Post by Straker » Sun Nov 28, 2021 4:55 pm

My idea is to connect a RC202 looper on send/return of Boss gt1000 core.
So I would put the send/return (looper) at the middle of the fx chain of Gt1000core and use some fx for input (recorded with fx on a Rc202 looper track) and some for output (as track fx) after return.
If that would be possible, I would have better fx as input fx and track fx (on the Rc202 looper).
Reading all manuals and parameter manual of GT1000core, I didn't clearly understand if that's possible but I have the feeling it is.
(Boss manuals really suck when you want to understand this routing things).
The point would be to send the guitar plus Gt1000core fx to looper, back from looper to gt1000core again (return) and then finally out to a mixer with GT1000core output.
Do you guys think that's possible?

I don't have either of these pedals but the answer is very likely yes. use the send returns in stereo link mode and place it in the chains. The original GT-1000 manual might explain more but the entire point of GT pedals is the routing options so it has to be possible to do what you are describing.

Great.
I a need a clear user confirmation before buying the gt1000 core.
GT1000core has as you said a stereo send and a stereo return and if I understand correctly, they can be placed in any position on the patch chain.
So it should be possible to send the effected guitar to looper, loop it, return it to the patch after the send and apply more effects to the loops.

Hi Straker.

I've got a CORE. To be clear, yes you can move effects around on either side of the loop to your hearts content. I reckon it'll work for what you're describing just fine.

Perfect Thanks a lot.
Great flexibility for this gt1000 core!
