Momentary led question

Is it known when Boss stopped doing the momentary led that is only lighting when the switch is pressed down? The "younger" pedal that I have with this feature is a NF-1 from october 79.

There was a post in the old Bossarea Forum (from March 26, 2008) that mentioned that the switch (pun intended) to the now normal (always on) led light was around batch number 9000 or 9100.
(So January or February 1980)

I searched "bossarea momentary led" on my android phone through my Samsung internet, and it came up through a link to scribd.com
It gives me the option to download, and I assume pay for the information, but it also gives a preview of the page. I just looked at the preview. I guess it's sort of like the way back machine...
