I think I might have grabbed an unobtainable one at a ‘reasonable’ price :?

It should be here later this week.

And, after all I said about this pedal. The force is strong with this one
Uuuuuuh! Can't wait to see which one it is.

My guess, SG-1 short dash.
Good guess but not that one. It will be with me tomorrow all being well.

Yes, that was a member called "rychehed", who was banned after a while, because of forum rule violations. He had pretty much all of these models, but sold them all at eBay or Reverb.

And Tim "Greeny" Green from formerly Toyroom FX shared a few pictures of them as well, I think (but as far as I know he didn't own them).

Wasn’t there someone on one of the previous incarnations of this forum who had a couple of those ultra rare pedals? Can’t remember who now but I’m sure I remember someone getting hold of some of them.
Lucky bastards!

Here is a small list of some model variants that are also very difficult to find, and if you guys knows another one as rare as these, please post.

SP-1 Black screw - produced from MAR 1981 to NOV 1981 (9 months)
PH-1 Black screw - produced from MAR 1981 to NOV 1981 (9 months)
GE-6 Black screw - produced from MAR 1981 to JUN 1981 (4 months) !!!
SG-1 Black screw, short dash - produced from JAN 1982 to FEB 1982 (2 months) !!!
SD-1 Silver screw - produced in FEB 1981 and maybe MAR 1981 (1 or 2 months) !!!

And, of course, all silver screws from the very first batch of production, believe me because those ones I know how hard to find they are.
Here's a short dash SG-1 to sell on Facebook Marketplace: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... 3417455657 (sixth picture). The guys is asking 500$ CND

Oh! How nice, we got them almost at the same time!

Mine is number 1080, which one is yours? If you don't mind to disclosure it, of course.

Congrats Doc, today is also a special day to me, just received from Japan the last missing model, a SD-1 4A.

So today, at the month I'm completing my 54th turn around our star, and up until Boss releases another model, my collection is complete too.🤗

Thanks Doc.

Yeah it is a very good feeling.

Wow, you're lucky! 2996 is almost the last unit, you know that I am crazy for firsts and lasts. Very nice.

Don't know where to put this bit of information, since it is about an unobtainable one, I brought it here.

Another mistake from the Boss book.

The Boss book states, and therefore the bossarea.com, that the end of production of the SG-1 was in February 1982.

But here it is a March 1982 unit, that I would buy in a snap if it wasn't so beaten up:

The SG-1 that I talked about some replies before is also from march 1982. I chatted with the guy and he sent me some pictures with the serial number (167200)

Here's a picture of it. Still in "ok" condition:

Yeah, it looks that a cleaning will make it okay.

But I will wait for a even better unit, thanks sebastien32.
