Yoshi Ikegami talked about the HM-2w:
So, it will be a SMD board, standard/custom mode switch next to the power supply jack. It is slated to be available this summer at around US$200.

It's cool to see that the HM-2W is going to be availabe soon, but it's a bit sad that they do it with an SMD board. I stick to my original HM-2 (but I would like to try out the Waza Craft version to test the Custom mode).

Got an e-mail from Boss yesterday saying that the HM-2w was now available for pre-order.
Price in the UK seems to be £160ish (not sure if this is "news"):
£159 at Andertons
£160 at GAK
£160 at Gear4Music
Not sure if these dates are remotely accurate but Andertons say "stock due on Saturday, 31 July 2021" whilst Gear4Music say "Estimated delivery: 31st Aug. - 2nd Sep."

I will wait until I have one in my hands to make sure, but the custom mode sounds suspiciously similar to the HM-3 Hyper Metal, as I have predicted before.
Of course it has the waza craft wizardry, lower noise, more output power, etc...
I think this one will be the first waza that I like the custom mode more than the standard.
