Yes Old Iron, the Behringer does it all, do not want to use those slots, just take em out. Can you actually do that??... I know there are the screws, but will it work?

I have the Boss ones BCB-30, BCB-60 and that 12 pedals PB1000 from Behringer.

The Boss BCB-60 has better patch cables and power supply, but I don't use daisy chain PS, so it doesn't matter to me.

Besides that, I think the PB1000 have almost the same quality, is bigger and cheaper.

And yes you can take that slotted sheets and replace with another, cutting the new slots the way you want for different pedal sizes, some screws will be in the way, but you could just don't use some of them.

The only thing I don't like is the weight of it fully loaded, very heavy.

The suitcase model appeals, though expensive. It is quite a struggle to find pedalboards/cases with height I find. No lock on the BOSS too?

The BCB-90X certainly improves on the 60 with freeing up that top section. They are heavy but alot better than some of those aluminium boxes with poor surfaces for velcro and access for cable routing etc. I still enjoy my BCB-6 if I go BOSS, efficient and easy to setup/change. Alas these days I have numerous non-BOSS pedals of awkward size in the rig!

The smaller ones look like you could lock them with a padlock through the catches, like you can on the BCB-30, but I cannot see anything similar on the BCB-1000. Seems a strange omission?

Moved to a Boss BCB-90X from a BXCB-60 last year. Had heard that the foam was so think that it was easy to rip the pad when cutting it, but thankfully I didn't have any trouble.

I like the flexibility the BCB-90X gave me to add a Tech 21 Sansamp pedal for when I go ampless.
