Looks like new! I received one in an old pedal exchange. It had been regifted a few times but I kept it. It's very different compared to a SD-1 because they may be intended for different uses. Other boss overdrives work really well as a boost into a dirty amp. The DN-2 as a stand alone pedal into a clean amp seems to be a better use. It's worth having considering the low price.
If you believe the marketing, the pedal is based on the Dyna Amp mode from the Cube 60, so the DN-2 is more amp-in-a-box that a lot of overdrive pedals, I suppose.
