OLD OD-1 needs battery lead soldered in

Post by zipfunk » Sun Jun 21, 2020 12:48 pm

Hi guys,

New to the forum here.
I have a few BOSS pedals and love them of course.

I do have an old OD-1 that has seen better days.
Essentially its functional but the battery lead has been pulled out for some reason.
I have the lead but I'm not positive exactly where it gets soldered to.

Any help would be great.

If you are OK reading schematics, this schematic is for the 4558 version. Which version do you have?

Firstly, I apologize for not responding sooner. I didn't receive an email saying there was a response.

How would I figure out which version of pedal I have?
I know it was purchased late 80's
And now looking at it it is an SD-1
Sorry for the lack of brains on my end.

I checked out the schematic and I'm not sure if I see where the battery leads go

This is a picture from harmonycentral. Maybe this helps you a bit:

And here's another site with SD-1 modifications and rather big internal pictures of the SD-1:
