Another new Boss pedal DD-3T Digital Delay

Today I sold my second MIJ DD-3 with the long chip. The buyer wrote that he tried the DD-3T, but it didn't sound as good as his MIT DD-3 from 2002!

The buyer just wrote me that he received my Japanese DD-3 and he likes it a lot.

And they know it sounds better too. The dd-2 emulation on the DD-500 sounds exactly like it, long chip delay is the perfect sounding stomp box delay.

Do you already have a DD-3T, The_Doc? What can you tell us about it?

Yes, I’ve had a DD-3T for a while. I did a comparison with a MIT DD-3 today and there isn’t a lot of difference. Both are good workmanlike digital delays. If anything, the newer DD-3T has slightly richer and more defined repeats than the earlier version but you wouldn’t notice it in a live band situation (remember those ).
