I would actually be super curious to know what variations of pedals he has (like all the DS-1s, how many MIJ, MIT, labels, etc.)

This is all I Need for VINTAGE BOSS Pedal tones! - BOSS ME-5
BUT - Upgraded with the Boutique Upgrade Kit
Few people realise that the ME-5 incorporates the classic BOSS pedal internals that are now vintage collectables including the: CS-2, DS-1, OD-2, RV-3, EQ-1, CE-2, DD-2, BF-2 all together with a switchable Noise Suppressor NS-2 that calms the proceedings - so that's actually 9 classic 80s units - not 5 !

Re: Every Boss Pedal You Have!
That's very interesting, but ME-5's are so rare in my corner of the map... I mean, I haven't seen any for sale on classified ads in the last 5 years so even less in the flesh!
How close are the sounds you can dial from the real stompbox? Are they really the exact same circuits in that small of a package?

Re: Every Boss Pedal You Have!
So would I. As for listing pedals, after seeing his post maybe pictures would have been the better choice.
So here is my collection. Some pedals I listed aren't at my place so my picture is a bit incomplete.

Ah, you kept the OD-2? I thought you didn't like it instantly. The "R" model is a lot louder (and my young brothers who recently borrowed some of my pedals love it to pieces).

Re: Every Boss Pedal You Have!
Yeah that's true, I didn't like it. It was on a different amp though. I bought a Mesa Mark V shortly after and completely stopped buying pedals for a few years. The amp is pure metal sounding and I've been exploring pedals again for a rock sound to mix with my 2nd channel. I don't believe I've tried the OD-2 out for that yet so that will be fun! Thinking back, I wish I didn't sell off some of my other od/dirts like the XT-2, PW-2, etc... Would love to see how they react with all the options the mark v has. I had pristine boxed versions of them too.
