Hey Pepe, yes I believe the first owner bought and stored it, never really used.

And I just did what I call "the old lady routine", wrapped it with plastic film to conserve it's freshness. 😊

I don't know if that's the best method. I think the pedals have to breathe a little. Laurie might have useful information about that.

I'm open to a better method, but since I live a few blocks from the beach, one wrap of plastic film (like those used in kitchen) seems a good way to protect.

I don't want to store it away from my eyes or my hands, you can see in the picture of my collection that it is displayed in my playroom.

Yes - it needs to breathe. A plastic storage box with a few holes drilled in one end was my preferred method for rare pedals.

Also... I'm sure you are on top of this, but please ensure there is no battery :)

OK, I punched a hole in the plastic wrap, with a pen tip, over the sliders panel, so it's not completely sealed anymore.

Yes Laurie, no batteries.

Thank you very much guys for the advice.

I received this nice MIJ duo two days ago. Both units are perfectly working. I was on the MIJ BF-2 hunt for a while. It's about time to make a new proper demo video.

BF-2 is from April 1982, HM-2 from February 1985.

Oooh. Very nice Pepe 8-)

Did you not already have an HM-2? I’m sure I’ve watched you demoing one?

Yes, I have two exemplars now. It came in a bundle with the BF-2. I'm going to sell the HM-2 again.
