Yeah it's nice to have it at a "fairly acceptable" price, imagine that I almost bought it for ~US$1000.00 when I lost the opportunity to buy it at the presale time. Add the shipment and the 60% tax over it and you can imagine the disgrace.

It is one of my most desired collection goals coming to be, a complete collection is just around the corner. By complete I mean one unit of each model at least, still many variants are missing, and 3 silverscrews from the first batch.

You all should have seen a video from a guy named Cameron Johnson in youtube, he posted a video in 2015 showing off his complete collection at that time. And that video inspired me to pursue the same goal (or madness). He is the one to be blamed.

Next month, November 2021, the compact line is reaching 44 years old, and if we count all different models released since 1977, not the variants but including all commemorative and re-editions like: BK, 3A, 4A, waza craft and the 40 years box, we have a total of 136 pedals.

Half of that would be 68, and today Boss have 59+2 (SD-1 4A and MT-2 3A) = 61 compact pedals in it's sales catalog.

Close to half of all models released by Boss during those 44 years are still in production and for sale.

It's impressive, isn't it?

Finally indeed!

After more then 10 years seriously collecting Boss compact pedals, my collection has all models released since November 1977.

Today I received the last missing one, a SD-1 4A, also a beautiful HF-2 MIT and a DS-1 made in Malaysia.

Yes, complete until Boss releases another model.

It's a never ending quest.

The HF-2 MIT costed me € 145,00 delivered and taxed (outch!), but the price in Japan was "only" € 75,00.

Really not an easy feat, I've been trying to complete it for a while, but Boss kept releasing new models and I was being left behind, recently I made an effort to do it.

As you know Doc, after I saw your beautiful pedals I'm more focused on acquiring cleaner units, still my collection has a few ogres.
