Re: New BOSS pedals!
Another rare bird came to live in my collection, and it sings like a nightingale.
It is a Boss OD-1 0000 NOV 1980.
Condition is not as I would desire, but in this case grasshopper, rarity overrules condition. IMHO.
An OD-1 with a rare, very sought after chip, Texas Instruments TL4558P, also used in early 1980's Ibanez TS-808.
A small step for a man, a big leap for a collector! (Come on! It was expensive as a premium whore!)
It came with friends, a DS-1 black label MIT and an OD-2 MIT with it's box and manual.

Very nice!
But, you know ... as long as you don't have one with the 14-pin IC, skeleton switch and momentary LED plus the cut-out box, your collection won't be complete!

Re: New BOSS pedals!
I know what you are doing Pepe, yes, collectors are silly.
The OD-1 cut-out box is a miss, the oldest cut out box I have is a 6600* JAN 1978 GE-6 first batch. ----------- *=edited
But I have all variants of the OD-1 14 pin IC, including a 6400 NOV 1977 first batch of production (a SP-1 6400 too!):
OD-1 6400 Raytheon RC3403ADB chip with Rohms 1S2473 yellow diodes, skeleton switch, momentary LED, etc.
OD-1 7000 Raytheon RC3403ADB chip with Toshiba 1S1588 blue diodes, skeleton switch, momentary LED, etc.
OD-1 8800 NEC uPC4741c chip with Rohms 1S2473 yellow diodes, momentary LED, etc.
Also this 0000 TL4558P OD-1, plus a 1981 OD-1 that is in the mail coming from Japan, this one I don't know it's batch number, bought it because it is in good condition and the price was good, there was no pics from the batch number in the sellers add, but it is long dash with black screw.
And a 890551 APR 1988 (4 month before the end of production) with a JRC4558DD chip and black diodes.
Still missing: a NEC c4558c chip, a JRC4558D chip with black diodes and one with yellow diodes.
Maybe another variant that I can't remember...

Re: New BOSS pedals!
I've been wondering if I should send you my list of variants... there might be something in there that you don't have. Like the (IRRC) 5 variants of a CS-3
