New BOSS pedals!
Re: New BOSS pedals!
It's been a while since I've posted anything.. You have all done so well building your collections!!
I may have missed an acquisition or two here, but these both came recently.
The SP-1 (6800) was bought off a fellow forum member - not sure if anyone would recognize it or not. Bizarre to finally hold one in my hands..
The NF-1 was literally acquired by bartering with homemade beef jerky.

That Noise Gate looks impeccable. Great find.

SP-1 looks awesome!
A few quick mods and the NF-1 becomes an SG-1

He has an SG-1 in his collection, so no need for a mod.
And the SP-1 is a real beauty! Hear the demo of it on the 24th.

Scored a PH-1R with the original box from ebay. the knobs are not original but I got a good deal (115$ USD). What should I do about the knobs?

Re: New BOSS pedals!
I think you can easily purchase new knobs at eBay. There are several non-original knobs on the market that look pretty much like the original BOSS knobs.

My holiday gift to me was this Jan '84 DM2. I have never owned one, but it was at my local store and had to grab it.
Not totally sure, but it may be a little wacky. It has the MN3205 chip, black label, 510B board. Super clean, sounds great. 2nd Gen? 3rd gen? Should be green label? Experts?
It joins my BOSS delay family: DSD2, DD3 long chip, and DD5.
I also have a couple Ibanez analogs that it will have to live with: 83 AD9 (9v) and 82 AD80 (18v), which are similar in color.
