On a slight roll recently with a few recent BOSS pickups. Couldn't resist this spiffing BF-2 silver screw at a reasonable price (esp. after noting online prices! :o

My lowest serial number to date at 0400 (batch) though of course that is date wise younger than my previously acquired BF-2 SS, batch 10200. Nice purple machines, quite intense and borderline "metallic". I think overall I prefer softer "watery" flangers but the BF-2 has its place! :)

Much nicer than mine!

I seem to be back on the MIJ collecting roundabout... these purely opportunistically in the last couple of months.

It's all good :)

Likewise I had "paused" much BOSS hunting but recently the rise in prices means I stretched a little the budget to get current day "bargains" when they pop up, even if it is repeats! lol. Maybe one day I can trade a dozen for a Slow Gear hahaha

Nice!

I ended up, sort of accidentally, buying two of them earlier in the year

I got lucky with my FRV1, it was $80 about 1.5 years ago. I was not looking for one, nor did I want one, but the price was right. Plus, it's a nice compliment to my RV2 for those incredibly rare times I want to use a reverb pedal.

I do love me some BF2. It was my first flanger, so it sort of shaped what I expect from a flanger. My 78 ADA and 76 Electric Mistress are certainly different sounding from the BF2.

Ooh very lucky. The RV-2 is my go to too, but I'd love a heavy spring "extra" verb for certain moments.

If you ever want to trade the FRV-1 or sell let me know :)
